Careers at Orange County Gutter Pros

Build things that last. Work with a crew that treats the trade like a craft.

We put up seamless gutters, downspouts, and roofing across Orange County, from the hillside neighborhoods of Coto de Caza down to the coast at San Clemente. The work is steady because rain finds every home eventually, and homeowners here want it handled by people who show up on time and stand behind the job. That is the whole reason this company exists, and it shapes who we hire.

You do not need a resume full of gutter experience to talk to us. Plenty of our best installers started in a different trade, or none at all, and learned the craft on our trucks. What we look for is simpler: you take pride in a straight line and a clean seam, you communicate with the homeowner like a professional, and you would rather redo a section than leave it half right. If that sounds like you, keep reading.

Why people stay here

Real training, not sink or swim

New hires ride with a lead installer until the fundamentals are second nature. We run our own seamless machine on site, so you learn to roll gutter to length and cut miters by hand, then move into pitch, hangers, and downspout runs as you earn it.

Work close to home

Our jobs sit inside Orange County. That means shorter drives, predictable days, and getting home for dinner instead of chasing work two counties away. Most routes stay within a handful of cities near the yard.

A path, not a ceiling

Apprentice, installer, lead, crew foreman, estimator. Each rung comes with more responsibility and better pay, and we promote from the trucks first. Several people running crews today started by carrying ladders.

Open positions

We hire year round and keep a short list of roles open even when nothing is posted, because good people are worth making room for. Below is what we are actively looking to fill right now.

Gutter Installer

You will run and hang seamless gutter, set downspouts, and finish fascia work on residential and commercial jobs. Comfort on a ladder and a feel for pitch matter more than a certificate. Expect early starts, physical days, and the satisfaction of driving past homes you kept dry.

Installer Apprentice

Brand new to the trade? Start here. You will load trucks, learn the tools, and shadow a lead until you can carry your own sections of the job. This is an earn-while-you-learn spot for someone who is dependable, coachable, and genuinely interested in building a skill instead of just clocking hours.

Gutter Cleaning & Maintenance Technician

This role keeps existing systems flowing. You will clear debris, flush downspouts, check for sag and separation, and flag repairs before they turn into water damage. It suits someone methodical who notices the small stuff, since a clogged corner today is a rotted fascia board next winter.

Field Estimator

You will meet homeowners at the property, measure the job, and quote it on the spot with a straight answer instead of a hard sell. The best estimators here came off the trucks and know what a run actually takes to install, so they price it right the first time. This is a mix of driving, measuring, and earning trust in someone’s driveway.

What we offer

Pay depends on your skill and what you bring on day one, and we talk numbers openly in the interview rather than burying them in fine print. Beyond the paycheck, here is what the job comes with.

How to apply

No formal resume required. Tell us who you are, what you have worked on, and when you can start. Send a short note to careers@orangecountygutter.com to ask about openings. If we are not hiring for your role the week you reach out, we hold applications and circle back, so it is always worth the call.
